Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This page explains what personal data we process when you visit salesbooster.me or contact us, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights. It is provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (the "Italian Privacy Code"), as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
In short
- The site uses no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or other third-party services.
- The "Request the assessment" form is not active yet: for now, you can contact us by email.
- We use what you write only to reply and to see whether we can help. We do not sell your data and do not use it for newsletters.
- If we do not end up working together, we delete your messages no later than 24 months after our last contact.
- For access, correction or deletion of your data, write to info@salesbooster.me.
1. Who the data controller is
The data controller, meaning the party that decides how and why your data is processed, is:
- Sales Booster di Valitutto Francesco, sole proprietorship, trading as SalesBooster
- Business address: 84020 Palomonte (SA), Italy
- VAT number: IT05936850659
- REA number (Italian business register): SA-494254
- Privacy contact: info@salesbooster.me
We have not appointed a data protection officer (DPO): it is not required for the type and volume of processing we carry out.
2. What data we process
2.1 If you contact us
If you email us, we process your email address, your name and whatever you choose to include in the message: for example your company, website, business figures and goals. Please do not send us data we do not need, and never health data or other special categories of data.
The "Request the assessment" form on the home page sends nothing and stores nothing: what you enter stays on the page and is gone when you close it. If you try to send it, the site offers you a ready-made email with your form answers, without your name, email address or phone number. The message opens in your email program and you send it yourself: until you do, we receive nothing.
If you call us, message us on WhatsApp or Telegram, or send us a message on LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook (the profiles are linked on the site's business card page), we process your number or profile and what you tell us. For people in the European Union these services are provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Telegram Messenger Inc. (outside the European Economic Area, with a representative in the EU), LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Each of them processes data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. You choose the channel: if you prefer, write to us by email.
2.2 Browsing data
As with any website, our hosting provider's server that hosts salesbooster.me and its content delivery network (CDN) record some technical data about visits in their logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, result of the request, browser and operating system. We need it to run the site, find errors and protect it from attacks. We do not use it to identify you, except in cases of abuse or at the request of the authorities.
Fonts, images and scripts are hosted on our own server: during your visit your browser does not contact any third-party service, not even Google Fonts.
2.3 Cookies
The site uses no cookies or other tools that store information on your device, apart from your browser's normal cache and the instruction to use HTTPS. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
3. Why we process data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to your messages, assessing whether we can work together and, where it makes sense, preparing a proposal | Email address, phone number or profile, content of your messages | If you contact us for yourself, as a freelancer or sole proprietor: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you contact us as an employee or representative of a company, or for reasons other than a possible engagement: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us and assessing the requests we receive (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Running the site, protecting it from abuse and finding errors | Browsing data | Legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| If you become a client: contract, invoicing and tax obligations | Contract and billing data | Performance of the contract and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c)) |
| Defending our rights in the event of a dispute | Only the data needed | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have assessed that your interests, rights and freedoms do not override it: these are uses you would expect when you visit a website or write to a business, limited to the data needed. If you want to know how we made this assessment, write to us. You can object at any time (see section 9).
We do not use your data for newsletters or promotional messages, and we make no decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).
4. Do you have to provide your data?
No. Without a way to reach you, though, we cannot reply. Browsing data is needed to show you the pages and cannot be avoided. If you become a client, however, contract and invoicing data is mandatory: the contract and the law (Article 21 of Italian Presidential Decree 633/1972) require it, and without it we cannot enter into the contract or issue an invoice.
5. Who may receive the data
The data is processed by the controller. We rely on one provider that processes it on our behalf as a data processor (Art. 28 GDPR), only on our instructions:
- Hostinger International Ltd (Cyprus): website hosting, content delivery network (CDN) and the info@salesbooster.me mailbox. For part of the service Hostinger relies on other providers (sub-processors), listed in its data processing addendum.
If you become a client, billing data also goes to whoever assists us with tax compliance and to the Italian Revenue Agency through its e-invoicing system, as the law requires. We disclose data to the authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell or pass on data to anyone else.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Hostinger is based in the European Union, but some of the providers it relies on are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), for example in the United States (Cloudflare, Inc. and Proofpoint, Inc.). Its CDN may also serve pages from nodes outside the EEA. For these transfers Hostinger's addendum applies the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (Decision (EU) 2021/914, Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR); where a Commission adequacy decision exists (Art. 45 GDPR), that applies instead. The addendum is published at hostinger.com/legal/dpa, and you can ask us for a copy of the safeguards by writing to info@salesbooster.me.
We do not send your data to any other provider outside the EEA. If you contact us on WhatsApp, Telegram or a social network, those services may process data outside the EEA under their own privacy policies.
7. How long we keep data
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Messages and requests that do not lead to an engagement | No longer than 24 months after our last contact, then we delete them |
| Client data: contract, invoices and accounting records | 10 years, as required by Article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code; other correspondence until our work together ends |
| Server and CDN logs | Kept only by Hostinger for the hosting service's log rotation period, then deleted automatically. We keep no copies, except the entries needed to handle an abuse or a request from the authorities, for as long as that case lasts |
| Data needed to defend a legal claim | For as long as the dispute lasts |
8. How we protect data
We use technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risks: encrypted connections (HTTPS), security headers, no third-party scripts on our pages, and a protected mailbox that only authorised people can access. No measure removes every risk: if a breach affecting your data occurred, we would handle it as required by Articles 33 and 34 GDPR and inform you where necessary.
9. Your rights
At any time you can:
- access your data and receive a copy (Art. 15 GDPR);
- ask us to correct or complete it (Art. 16);
- ask us to delete it, for example when it is no longer needed (Art. 17);
- ask us to restrict its processing, for example while we look into something you have disputed (Art. 18);
- receive the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another controller (portability, Art. 20).
Right to object. You can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). We will then stop processing your data, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds or we need it to defend a legal claim.
To exercise your rights, write to info@salesbooster.me. It is free of charge. We reply within one month; in complex cases this can be extended by two further months, and we will tell you so within the first month. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask for information to confirm it.
If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work, or where the alleged breach took place (Art. 77 GDPR). If you prefer, write to us first: it is often quicker.
10. Minors
The site is aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the services we use, our activities or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force. Before we activate the online form or any analytics or marketing tools, we will update this page and the Cookie Policy.
This policy is also available in Italian. If the two versions differ, the Italian version prevails.
